Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci never fails to amaze me after studying his
stunning Fall 2011 Couture collection inspired by 'Birds of Paradise'.
All ten gowns were beautifully created with pure white fabrics and were painstakingly embroidered,
some of which featured pearls that had been inserted with crystals to capture the light and create
the effect of an Ostrich skin, creating the most flattering pieces this season.
His collection features the most high quality handwork and extraordinary techniques, such as
hand curled feathers and colour changing degrade beading, contrasting with his famous oversized plastic zips.
If only I could afford every gown in the collection..
