AD206 Styling Project Update

Week 3
·        Had a meeting with the photographers – got paired with one and looked through file of research to show the type of shoot I would like and the image I want to create – took contact details
·        Georgia (photographer) really passionate – coming up with a lot of ideas – looked at Louis Vuitton 50’s style ad campaign for inspiration from the diner location and look at Tim Walkers photography for more inspiration
·        Using a previous model she has used for the shoot – taking advantage of  contacts
·        Start collecting accessories needed for the shoot – glasses, shoes, gloves, pearls, hat etc.

Inspirational 1950's shoot images:

I looked at these images as I feel they are very elegant and effortless with the poses and use very minimal accessories/styling with the odd hat and gloves to represent the era.
I also love the black and white effect of the photographs, which gives a real sense of the era and back shots really give off the detailing and effect of the garments.

Louis Vuitton S/S AD 2012 - 1950s diner style:
Diner setting, bold colouring, sweet, feminine look to it, pastel colours bring out colours of the collection.
