Week 8
· Dress up day again for charity - elf - for Christmas time
· Was on tills and putting stock out towards end of shifts
· Had to keep pressing the till bell for help - over scanned items and then pressed cash
· instead of card when serving a customer so had to take her up to customer service to sort out – they didn’t know how - customer started getting impatient - had to quickly try and resolve problem with supervisors
· Had to learn how to use customer service tills for when i do a shift on there soon
· Was sent to cash office as till receipt didn’t print out for a customer
· Was quiet day – around Christmas time so wasn’t much to do
Week 9
· Was on tills
· Sent to department 7 - shoes - worked with two colleagues sorting the stands out - putting shoes in correct size order and neatening it up - had to put more stock out from the loading bay - difficult trying to find where the shoes were to put more of them out
· Put stock out first few hours on mens and kidswear - first time upstairs so not sure where anything was
· Worked on customer services on the Saturday - really difficult at first - very different to using the normal tills – a lot to learn - made some mistakes - got supervisors to help - learnt skills quickly - kept forgetting to check the dates to make sure items were bought within the 28 days - had some difficult customers - demanding refund when not entitled to it
· End of shift – had to go around and red pen all the clothing – make sure it was all marked down
Week 10
· On tills and shop floor doing returns
· Supervisors accusing me of not doing work properly - put in complaint
· On pj section - tidying them all day - hanging onesies, pj tables etc
· Sent onto knicker tables - love doing it – very therapeutic - making sure they're all tidy and in correct size order
· Done overtime - on pj section again – putting more stock out of underwear and pjs.
